DONATION REQUESTS

The Oklahoma City Barons are dedicated to assisting community initiatives across the state by providing auction items to non-profit organizations. We would like to accommodate every request with a positive response. However, due to the volume of requests we receive, we must adhere to certain guidelines.

Please review these guidelines before submitting your request:

• Organization must be a non-profit 501(c)(3)

• Organizations are limited to one request per year

• Organizations must be using the donation to raise additional funds. We are not able to fulfill donation requests where the donated items are used as door prizes, incentives or giveaways

• The Oklahoma City Barons do not donate to companies that hold organizational campaigns as we donate directly to non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations

• Donations will only be granted to organizations and events hosted in the state of Oklahoma

• All requests must be made at least six (6) weeks prior to the event date

• Request must be submitted between June 1 and October 31, 2010 to be considered for the 2010-11 season

• The donation request form must be filled out in full

Official request MUST be on company letterhead and include:

• Description of event

• 501(c)(3) number

• Date of event

• What/who you are raising money for

• How the item will be used

Due to the volume of requests we receive, we do not accept phone calls regarding the status of a request. Once the request has been reviewed, you will receive notification approximately 2 – 4 weeks prior to the event.
